How RK Environmental’s Exclusion Process Works
No two businesses are exactly alike. That’s why RK Environmental tailors our services to each building’s individual needs – and why every service begins with a thorough inspection to catch any overlooked vulnerabilities. Once we have a clear idea of what your building needs, we build you a customized plan. Below are the broad strokes of what you can inspect with each exclusion service:
- Inspecting loading areas. As part of our inspection, we inspect loading docks, garage doors, and any other frequently-used entrance areas to decide how to protect them.
- Sealing gaps. Mice and rats in particular can squeeze through gaps as small as a quarter; that’s the scale we deal with when inspecting for vulnerabilities. These gaps can include places where pipes, cables, and wires enter the building.
- Covering larger gaps. We don’t stop with the small areas! We’ll also cover exterior vents, chimneys, gutters, and gaps under doors to make sure nothing can get in through them. This means installing vent and chimney covers, door sweeps, and more.
RK Environmental Uses Flexi Armour Products
As part of our exclusion services, RK Environmental uses the Flexi Armour line of products. This line includes two products, the Flexi Armour Shield and the Flexi Armour Seal. These products are infused with stainless steel strands to stand up to even the strongest wildlife teeth and claws.
- The Flexi Armour Shield is a flexible adhesive sheet that covers gaps and cracks. One installation lasts up to 2.5 years.
- The Flexi Armour Seal is a powerful sealant that fills in gaps. This is a permanent installation.
Both Flexi Armour products can be used both indoors and outdoors, can be painted over, and are not flammable. This makes them highly versatile and useful for pest exclusion in many different scenarios.
